Why Puerto Rico

I live where most people vacation.

Most FSD reviewers parachute in for a clip. These are my daily commutes, errands, school runs and weekend drives — the same five stressors stack on every trip, and FSD has to handle them or it disengages. If it works here, it works anywhere.

Local resident · Driven daily
01

Narrow streets

Colonial blocks in Old San Juan with parked cars on both sides and no shoulder.

02

Aggressive traffic

Hato Rey, Río Piedras and Caguas rush hour. Buses cut, scooters split, signals ignored.

03

Tropical weather

Sudden downpours, glare off wet asphalt, fogged-out cameras, flooded crossings.

04

Faded lane markings

Stretches of municipal roads where lane paint is gone. FSD has to infer the road.

05

Mountain & blind curves

PR-184 and Cordillera Central — narrow two-lane with no centerline, no guardrail.

Disclosure

FSD operates supervised. The driver stays responsible at all times. We don't curate routes — every disengagement is recorded on camera, with timestamp.

What we test.
What goes on camera.

Every drive falls into one of four categories. Each video states which one, the FSD version running, and any intervention — uncut, on camera. No "best take", no curated route, no edit-room rescue.

01 Urban routes Old San Juan, Río Piedras, Hato Rey rush hour.
02 Interventions Every disengagement logged on camera, timestamped.
03 Mountain & rural Cordillera Central, narrow PR-184, blind curves.
04 Edge cases Flooded roads, missing lane lines, unscripted scenes.

FSD is supervised. The driver is responsible at all times. We are not affiliated with Tesla, Inc.
